Professional Building Survey
Instructor - Yuyu Zhang
The traditional building, Shi Ba Jian, or “Eighteen Rooms”, is a typical house built in Changjiang Delta region of China. In this team project, we were instructed to do surveys and to draw all detailed plans, sections, elevations and vernacular patterns of one building. Two section views, three elevation views and a detailed node were detailed during the visit. Later a digital version of all drawings were documented for archival, restoration and reconstruction use.
